In Autumn 2, we investigated healthy living and healthy foods. In DT we made fruit salads and sandwiches. During science lessons we discussed eating a healthy diet, the importance of exercise, how to be safe with medicines and why washing our hands is so important.
Today we had a lovely day learning about minibeasts and life cycles at Fairburn Ings. We went on a bug safari to find out what minibeasts blackbirds, robins and blue tits eat. We also went pond dipping and found tadpoles, leeches, backswimmers and many more creepy crawlies. Here are some pictures of our great day.
Thank you to Andy and Roger for teaching us lots of new facts about minibeasts.
